High Riders Challenge 2009 Summary
Imagine 2 school busses, giant Lego blocks and a log track scattered with boulders and cement columns. If you add these all together you get a frame twisting, gut wrenching trek to the finish line. After all this, if their rig was still in one piece (or if they could repair it in time) the competitors would suit up Sunday morning for a whole new day of 4x4 adventures, where both courses were repeated but in reverse. After a few mechanical meltdowns, a small fire, a near drowning of Dave Warner, a rollover courtesy of the HR Hill of doom, the final scores were as follows….

JULY 4th - 5th, 2009 Teams and Spectators come from across Canada and the USA proving that distance is no obstacle when it comes to attending an event of this caliber. Spectators arrive in droves and hardcore competitors will tell you that this is a "must do" event. To win the "9th annual HRC Cup" and be recognized as the "Top Truck show in Canada" . Teams will need to conquer the most difficult combination of obstacles imaginable. A wicked skills course with enough deep mud to stop a tank plus gravity defying hills. If that wasn't enough competitors then line up for SJDE x SIDE racing over unforgiving near impossible obstacles of rock, concrete and the brutal Frame Twister. Yet another awesome year of the Greatest Red Neck Show on earth! This year at The High Riders Challenge the competitors had to deal with some extreme challenges. Saturday morning was the Skills Course full of gravity defying obstacles, HR Hill of Doom, treacherous bush, and the Trench of Doom with mud as thick as your ex. In the afternoon the competitors lined up to take on the side x side race course.
